The goal of the rapid biological inventories is to catalyze
effective action for conservation in threatened regions, which have a high
biological diversity and uniqueness. (G. Fong, A., 2005).
Bahoruco Oriental, by location, geomorphologic and
paleogeographic evolution, presents unique qualities in terms of biodiversity
and microclimates.The Natural Reserve is home to a variety of endemic species.
